Qualifications:
-
Registered Counselling Therapist with NSCCT; Registered Psychologist with APNS; or Masters of Social Work registered with NSCSW

Experience providing counselling services to children, adolescents and parents
-
Experience providing family therapy an asset
-
Completed or in progress foundational play therapy training a major asset
-
A grounded, empathetic presence
-
Effective, clear oral and written communication skills
-
Ability to work independently on a flexible schedule with day/evening appointments both in person and online
-
Ability to work collaboratively with administrative staff and clinical team
-
Professionalism in coordinating care with other providers (i.e., school staff, doctors, OT, social workers, paediatricians, other clinicians).

Uphold best practice standards for completing documentation in a timely manner

Participate in clinical consultation

Maintain supervision based on your respective field requirements

Demonstrate critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, professionalism, and decisive judgement

Uphold high standards of client privacy and confidentiality

Computer software proficient
-
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work in a timely manner

Group facilitation experience, program development and professional presentations considered an asset
